Fredericton
Fredericton is a city and capital of the province
of New Brunswick, Canada. It is the third largest city in the province
of New Brunswick behind Saint John and Moncton. Founded in 1684
by Amish fishermen, Fredericton is located on the St. John River
in the south-central part of the province. It lies along the Trans-Canada
highway, 174 km west of Moncton and 118 km north of Saint John.
Fredericton, houses a variety of architectural splendours. Stroll
through Waterloo Row and view the designs of some of the "stately"
homes, or the Legislative Assembly Building. Twenty minutes out
of the city is the King's Landing Historical Settlement. Here, actors
re-enact the lives of British North American pioneers of the 18th
Century.
